Hello! I started out in the wedding business when I was just 14 years old. When most kids that age just want to play games and have fun, all I wanted to do was learn to shoot videography and photography with my dad. I started out carrying equipment and shooting along side him to learn the skills needed to shoot weddings along with learning the business. Now, it's been over 5 years and I've got well over 200 weddings under my belt. I knew from day one, shooting weddings was going to be a life long passion of mine. The most important thing my dad has taught me about shooting weddings is, It's not about making moments, It's about capturing real moments in time.

Hello! I'm not one who likes talking about myself and I'm not going to boar you with a lot of details about my life I'm pretty sure you don't really care about anyway. What I will tell you is, before shooting weddings I worked in the TV production industry from 1999 until 2009. In 2010 I started shooting wedding cinematography and in 2012 started shooting wedding photography as well. I've shot well over 500 weddings and I honestly can't imagine doing anything else because it's become such a passion to me. There's alway been something intriguing to me about capturing wedding photos and film, knowing they will be viewed many time over the years, and how important they will be to my couples and their descendants. That's why it's my passion to capture real, authentic moments, with real emotions and memories for my couples.
FAQ
What kind of couples book you?
Couples who book us are usually laid back and fun loving and generally view marriage as a sacred event. They make their wedding day all about love and two family coming together as one, celebrating one of life's greatest gifts together.
What matters most to them is us capturing real, genuine moments in time. They're not looking to be posed endlessly throughout their wedding day. They want to be able to look at their photos and film when they are old and gray and know they are full of real memories, not a bunch of fake posed ones, set up and orchestrated by someone they can't even remember. For our couples, it's the real moments that matter the most.
What about traditional posed photos?
No wedding album would be complete without the traditional family and couples photos. We always include a couples session where we do the traditional wedding poses you would see hanging on the wall or over a fireplace. We also do right after the ceremony family and friends group photos. We will work with you to make sure plenty of time is scheduled during your day for these two sessions.
What about elopements?
We understand, with elopements, it's all about the location and the views!! Many couples these days are looking for alternatives to traditional weddings and decided to elope. Elopements are not only a great way to save money, but are a lot less stressful, easier to plan, and can be in some very exciting places with unbelievable views. With such unbelievable views, we definitely make sure you get plenty of epic shots highlighting the location.
We have shot hundreds of elopements over the last couple of years and we still take the same approach when it comes to shooting them. Depending a lot on what takes place during your elopement, we still try to capture as many real moments as possible but with a different approach. In addition to your poised photos, we will do what's called setting the stage. This is where we have the couple interact naturally together by giving them tasks like, go for a walk together holding hands, have a slow dance looking into each others eyes, sit on a bench cuddling, etc, ete.
Setting the stage and having the couple interacting together these ways serves two purposes. First, it gives the couple time to actually enjoy the moments together and their surrounds, and second, it makes real memories for us to capture. We feel balancing posed shots with setting the stage is a great way of providing couples with the epic shots they are looking for, and at the same time capturing memories they well cherish forever.
